I have been reading a lot about secrets in linking sites and will be doing experiments with my sites. I will be posting my experiments in the next month on Secrets to Linking. I am also going to post the best websites to advertise in. Right now, I am in the air port going to Morocco and will be doing a website on that shortly. So much to do and so little time. Getting Your Website Noticed

One of the hardest things to do is to get your site noticed from all the other websites. There are so many things to consider when making a website. For example, meta-tags, links, keywords, popularity, content, design. What makes your website stand out from everyone elses. Please place it in the comments with your website. What works for your website may not work for another.

The best think I have found is linking. You can link to my website, but please only if the content is similar and/or our website would be a good match. At the bottom of this blog is a link leecher. Play around with it. Place your website in there and see how many links you have. I also found Pac Man that you can play by clicking on the video game screen. I used to love this game it is good for stress relief. For more neat stuff to place on your website you can go to google gadgets. They have a lot of cool stuff.

I just joined Top Secret Bloggers. It is a new blog for bloggers with the focus of building a better blog/website. The article I wrote, Reeling in the Visitors gives a lot of good information on how to design a website. The only bad thing about Top Secret Bloggers is you can not advertise on it. I decided to join, because it was new and it would get me some traffic for this site. I am trying to find out more about the Warrior Forum. There is profit to be made there and I am thinking about joining. Are any of you familar with this site?

There is an adevertising company www.burstmedia.com that I would like to join. They seem like they would give a lot of revenue. You need to have at least 5,000 visitors a month on your website. I am not there yet. Other place you can go to get advertisment for profit on your website are www.linksynergy.com, www.clickbank.com, and . This reminds me a tip in placing banners, make sure they always open up in another window. To do this using the html edit place (space) target="new" after first set of paranthesis. For exmple "xxxxx" target="new" . This is will not work all the time usually there is a tag that says blank. In that case you just replace with new. For some reason I can not get this to work with google. I need to find out how you can get the google ads to open up in a new window.

I hope you find the information on this blog useful. This blog intention is to show you ways to improve your website and get traffic. You do not have to spend money to get traffic to your site. The key is to advertise - sell your site. For this to happen you need a site worth "selling" or people will not be interested. When you first start out you may not know were to go to advertise your site. My first days in web site designing were frustrating and exhausting. There are so many products on the web directed towards website designing and/or bringing traffic. A lot of these people want money and promise you the world. I joined a lot of programs giving them my money only to be disappointed in the end. After doing a lot of research, I found there are better ways to publish and get traffic to your website.

Once you have your website built you can start adding content and designing the template. There is a lot of different place you can go on the web for free website building. This blog for example, is a free blog where you can design a website similar to this one. You can also add advertisements to this blog and earn some extra money. To make money on the web from your website is a full time job. The websites are going to need to be updated frequently to keep the audience interested. There is a lot to learn about website designing! You will not learn how to build a good web site in less then a week. For the well known search engines like yahoo, google, and aol it can take up to 3 months for your site to be listed.

There is a lot of revenue to earn from your website by using places like Google, Ad Brite, and Bid Vertiser.
